Recruiting Specialist

Primary Purpose of Position:

The goal of this role is to identify a stream of qualified, long lasting, potential staff to meet the innovated and cutting-edge goals of Transformation Church. Must have a recruitment network presence with sourcing tools and techniques to produce immediately results. Ensuring successful ideal candidates with qualification match, culture fit and compatibility that aligns or succeeds expectation of hiring managers and organization innovated objectives.

Hand: Responsibilities & Duties

  • Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates; advising managers
  • Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization objectives and meeting with managers to discuss needs; Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications
  • Builds applicant sources by researching, developing leads, and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; and maintaining rapport
  • Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters, and using newsgroups and job sites
  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, and comparing qualifications to job requirements
  • Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranging travel, lodging, and meals; escorting applicant to interviews; and arranging tours
  • Manages new employee relocation by determining new employee requirements, negotiating with movers, arranging temporary housing, and providing community introductions
  • Execute strategic recruitment plan with specific timeframe and deliverable
  • Create internal and external Recruitment Marketing Branding Strategy to make employees recruiting brand ambassadors
  • Create an online and offline recruitment pipelines for partners, volunteers and placement recruiting
  • Conduct background checks, reference checks, and New Hire Orientation/on-boarding.
  • All other duties as assigned

Other duties may include:

  • Ability to organize skills assessment centers
  • Identify future hiring needs and develop job description and specifications.
  • Manage the recruitment process to ensure it runs smoothly
  • Prepare cost of living analysis
  • Help develop and plan Staff culture enhancement

Head: Knowledge & Training

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience recruiting in relevant industry environment
  • Recruiting and interviewing skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with relevant employment Law
  • Possesses a helpful, cheerful, diplomatic and caring servant attitude to all
  • Be a self-starter, have strong organizational skills, be able to prioritize and multi-task, while using good time management in a fast-paced environment
