Position Requirements: The Youth/Internship Director is responsible for the implementation of the internship and youth program. Along with executing the daily operations and personal development of the interns, coaching staff, internship staff, youth leaders and youth staff.

HANDS (Responsibilities + Duties)

INTERNSHIP

  • Provide oversight in the daily operations of the program including, one on one meetings, intern care, program development, etc.
  • Oversee and manage financial stewardship and program spending.
  • Manage recruitment and marketing of internship program
  • Conduct and oversee application process, interviews and acceptance in collaboration with HR.
  • Develop and lead intern leadership development and weekly gatherings.
  • Provide leadership, guidance and counsel to both interns and coaching staff.
  • Oversee the training and development of coaching staff.
  • Oversee and head internship staff and team.
  • Provide discipline and corrective feedback to interns and coaching staff.
  • Develop, analyze and implement all standard operational procedures.
  • Implement and develop intern programming and developmental material.
  • Any other tasks deemed necessary

YOUTH

  • Provide oversight in the daily operations of Youth including, one on one meetings, youth staff care, development of students, etc.
  • Oversee and manage department budget
  • Manage marketing for youth department
  • Conduct and oversee application process of TC youth leaders.
  • Develop and lead youth leaders
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and counsel to both students and youth staff.
  • Provide discipline and corrective feedback to youth leaders and youth staff.
  • Develop, analyze and implement all standard operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with Tribes to oversee and implement youth Tribes.
  • Any other tasks deemed necessary

HEAD (Knowledge + Training)

  • At least 3-5 years of professional leadership and / or ministry experience.
  • Ability to resolve conflict in calming manner.
  • Ability to counsel and coach individuals in a one on one setting.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • Proficiency with hiring and interviewing individuals
  • Comfortable with groups and people of all ages, including speaking in front of groups.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to cast vision while leading teams and people of all ages
  • Ability to maintain and execute systems, processes and procedures
  • Ability to be a team player who can mentor and empower others to grow in both skill and spirituality.
  • Flexible and capable of adapting to growth and change.
  • Ability to collaborate with other teams and departments in the organization
  • Ability to innovate, build, and add to internship ministry trends.
